Group of investors acquires Allianz Tower in Rotterdam

The 19,000 sqm Allianz Tower, located at Coolsingel 120 in the Central Business District of Rotterdam, has been acquired by a group of investors led by First Sponsor Group.
The 20-story Allianz Tower, is fully and long-term leased to insurance company Allianz. The property was extensively renovated and upgraded between 2018 and 2020 and offers office space, a staff restaurant and underground parking for 207 vehicles, in accordance with modern standards.
The property is located on the corner of Blaak and Coolsingel, right at the entrance of the Beurs subway station, in the heart of Rotterdam city centre with many amenities within the vicinity.
The Seller was commercially represented by CBRE, legally and fiscally by Greenberg Traurig, and financially by EY. Drees and Sommer acted as technical advisor during the transaction.
The group of investors led by First Sponsor Group was represented by Loyens & Loeff as legal and tax advisor, Savills as commercial advisor and CBRE Development Services as technical advisor.
