Professional Experience

Marco Hekman was appointed Chairman, Advisory Services, Continental Europe and UK & Ireland in June 2025. In this role Marco fosters increased collaboration between our UK and Continental Europe businesses, reflecting the pan-European needs of our clients and positioning CBRE to capitalise on significant growth opportunities.

He previously served as Divisional President for Continental Europe managing 27 countries in mainland Europe where he guided the division to strong growth across the region. He was appointed to this position in 2016.

Hekman started his career with CBRE in 1988, joining as an Intern, and was appointed Managing Director of the Netherlands in 2000. 

CBRE Advisory Services provides a comprehensive range of services, including property leasing, property sales, mortgage services, transaction management, strategic consulting, appraisal and valuation.
